video titles for a performance

spent last night adding titles to videos for Vanessa Justice
http://www.vanessajusticedance.org/index.html for a work-in-progress that will be shown this weekend in WIlliamsburg.



The video sequences were created by Rachel Boggia, and Vanessa.  I simply was adding titles to the media.  For various reasons, it took much longer than expected, which is nearly always my experience.  Cross platform issues - HDV footage into my SD system. FCPro 5.1  Didn't upgrade when 6 came out, because I didn't appreciate the interface changes in DVD Studio Pro, and now am 2 operating systems and 2 upgrades late.

site specific show in the West Village

shooting Sue Hogan's "Unison Fetish", a satirical take on consumerist culture.  She's made a really fun, entertaining dance, whose 'bite', pun intended (she IS riffing on Magnolia's Cupcake Culure, may be lost on those watching the dance.  No matter - the work references dance masters from Doris Humphrey to Trisha Brown, with a bit o' Mark Morris thrown in.  The dancers are excellent,sweet troupers.  Check out the 2008 version of the dance herehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7JTjtyWIw4
